Commissioned in 2015 by Mandarin Oriental and working with LTW Designworks in Singapore to create a stunning new major installation for their newly refurbished hotel. We commissioned Studio Roso in London to answer the brief. Two towering artworks frame the central welcome desk. The concept is based on lotus flowers in a pond, and is made from burnt and furnished cut metals and copper. The artworks, each 5 meters tall, were approved by a Fen Shui master.
