We’ve had a rare opportunity to curate a world class art collection for the sensational refurbishment of the old Europa Regina Hotel (completed in 2020) on the Grand Canal of Venice. With thanks to a collaboration with Berengo Studios in Murano, and in line with the contemporary interiors designed by Sagrada, the collection has groundbreaking glass works by stellar artists including Jaume Plensa, Tony Cragg and Karen LaMonte. Following in the footsteps of Claude Monet, who created his famous paintings of Venice from this hotel, we also commissioned many paintings and prints by contemporary Parisian artist Olivier Masmonteil to reflect the rich history of the hotel and Venice itself.
